Details to an RNC Exclusive Custom Cover Image Set Photo Shoot...
1.) Once you've purchased your RNC Custom Cover Image from RomanceNovelCovers.com, you then email a detailed description of what you are wanting for your novel cover 'image' to look like, from the genre, setting, props and wardrobe, to whether you want just me (Jimmy Thomas) on the cover, or me with a female co-model, the pose (or pose options) if you have specifics in mind, expressions, the feeling and attitude to portray, my hair length and/or style, and if a female co-model is to be in the image as well, her description; hair color and length, eye color, nationality, tone of skin color, her age, etc., and whatever else you can think of.
2.) If you are wanting a female co-model in the image with me, once I receive your image details, I will send you 10-20+ choices of female models that meet your description for you to choose from for your custom cover image with me. Once you've chosen the girl, I will coordinate a shoot date that fits her schedule, my photographer's and mine, as well as to when you are needing your custom cover image by.
3.) Once the shoot is complete, I will go through the hundreds of images shot for your custom image, and select the best 5-20+ images closest to what you described, for you to select the one custom cover image you paid for. You are paying a one-time flat rate fee of $300 total ($285 for the shoot, plus $15 for the image license rights to one exclusive, custom image) to prepare your custom cover image shoot; getting ready for the shoot, possibly renting or buying wardrobe and/or props for it, packing up our wardrobe, driving to the shoot location, spending at least 4 hours setting up the shoot with all the lights, furniture and props (if any), shooting it, breaking down the shoot, then packing everything back up, driving home and unpacking. That is where the photographer's and my co-model's jobs are done. I, on the other hand, have to now download all the images to my computer, go through them all to find the best 5-20+ images out of hundreds, which takes days to keep looking with fresh eyes each time, then clean and edit those 5-20+ images as RNC will never send anyone raw images. Then email you a small version of each for you to review, then go through the back and forth emails with you on selecting the best one image you want. Once you select it, I fully clean that image to perfection before sending it to you full size, exclusively for you to use for your print and/or eBook cover, website design, bookmarks, banners, etc. (explained thoroughly in the RNC's RMWPU Licensing.
4.) Keep in mind that this is for the custom cover 'image', not the final cover art. So you now need to hire a cover artist to make your cover for you, or you create it yourself. I highly suggest you let me select one of my cover artists for you (usually they are $100-$200 per cover). Allowing me to select one of my cover artists for you (after showing you their work first for you to choose, or you can just trust my judgment on who would be best for your particular cover, as each cover artist has their own style and specialties), will have them sending your custom cover to me first, before sending it to you, so that I can add my input/critique for the cover to meet my high standards ;) However, if you already have your own cover artist in mind, that is fine, completely your choice. If you want to send your custom cover to me before you start posting it everywhere, I'd be more than happy to give you my input/critique on it for you to give back to your cover artist if I see something that would make it better before you go public with it.
5.) Turn-around time for me to get you your final custom cover image, starting from when you send me all the details needed for it, is within a month. I can shoot any day or night just about, but it is also up to my photographer's schedule and the female co-model's schedule that you chose, if you want me with a female co-model.
6.) I am the only male model for my custom cover image shoots, as it would cost more to pay another model with a female instead of me, which if I did that your cost would be a lot higher. I also will not do any shoots with another male model, even if a female model is in the image as well.
BONUS #1: Of the remaining images shot from your custom cover image shoot, of the same setting, wardrobe, pose and expressions, or slightly altered setting, wardrobe, pose or expression, those you like and want for additional covers, websites, trailers, blogs, trading cards, banners, etc., they are also available to you as exclusive custom cover images for just $50 each.
I purposely shoot more than the exact pose you are asking for. I shoot a wide variety in case you later on decide you want more images from that custom shoot. Same attire (with variations of clothes on - to clothes coming off) and same setting, but different expressions and body language, from ranges of romantic to sensual (and to erotica if requested) for you to use on sequel/series book covers, bookmarks, your website design, trading cards, trailers, etc.
I do not upload these images from that Custom Cover Image Set to RNC for non-exclusive stock image sales. I do however, shoot more image sets during that photo shoot, for content images to upload to RNC for sale as non-exclusive stock. If I didn't do this, then I would have to charge multiple times the $300, as everyone involved needs to be paid their well-worth. The other image sets shot would be in completely different wardrobe, of different looks, and different styles - as if I were to shoot with that same co-model the next day, or 6 months prior or later. As you are not paying for exclusive rights to that co-model I'm shooting with, you are paying for an image that nobody else in the world will ever have or use, an image that you envisioned for your novel cover.
BONUS #2: During your Custom Cover Image Set Photo Shoot, RNC will take a behind-the-scenes image of your image set being shot, for you to post on your blog, Facebook page, website, etc., when discussing your RNC Custom Cover Image Photo Shoot.
